Delaware corporate document retrieval and certified copies
If the Delaware Division of Corporations has it on file for your corporation, LLC or partnership, I can get it for you, at standard or expedited speed.
Delaware corporate documents I can retrieve
- Certificate of Good Standing
- Proof the company exists and is current. More about good standing certificates.
- Certificate of Incorporation
- The document that created a Delaware corporation.
- Certificate of Formation
- The document that created a Delaware LLC.
- Certificate of Amendment
- Any change filed after the company was created, such as a new name.
- Certificate of Merger

Certified copy or plain copy?
- Certified copy
- A copy the State of Delaware certifies as a true copy of what is on file. Banks, courts and foreign authorities usually require this, and it can be apostilled.
- Plain copy
- An ordinary copy with no certification. Fine for your own records or an internal review.
Expedited Delaware filings
When a filing has to be on record today, I can submit it to the Delaware Division of Corporations with expedited processing and send you the filed copy as soon as the state returns it.
I don't prepare legal documents or give legal advice. Your attorney prepares the filing, and I get it filed quickly.
Every document retrieval order is handled by me personally. I check the exact company name and file number against Delaware's records before ordering, so you receive the right document the first time, and I email you the moment it is ready.
Not sure which Delaware document you need? Send me the request you received from the bank, attorney or registry, and I'll tell you exactly what to order.

Questions
Document retrieval questions
How do I find my Delaware file number?
It is a seven-digit number printed on documents the state has issued to your company. If you don't have it, the exact company name is enough for me to find it.
Can you get documents for a company I don't own?
Yes. Documents filed with the Delaware Division of Corporations are public records, so attorneys, lenders and investors often order them for companies they are reviewing.
How will I receive the documents?
By email as a PDF where the receiving party accepts it, or as paper originals by FedEx overnight or international courier.
